Silent Servant Award
On Sunday evening, February 18th, Newark First awarded the 2008 Silent Servant Award to Gladys Deskins. As the recepient of this award that is given annually, Gladys was recognized for her lifetime commitment in faithfully serving the church, community and kingdom of God in Newark, DE.

On Sunday, February 10th Newark First played host to its second Jazz Vespers service featuring the smooth singing of Felicia Carter.

NYI Ski Trip The Annual Teen Ski Trip to Loon Mountain, NH is set for February 22nd - 25th. If you like to ski, snowboard or snowtube, be prepared for an exciting time of fun and fellowship.
Adult Ski Trip The adults of Newark First recently returned from their annual ski trip to Lake Placid, NY. After spending their mornings and afternoons practicing inverted 540s and various methods (just kidding), the adults were glad to come back to the lodge in the evenings to relax and fellowship.
